Storm Damage & Insurance Claims
Helping You Understand Your Next Steps After a Storm
Nebraska storms can cause damage that isn’t always visible from the ground. If your home has been through hail or high winds, we’ll complete a thorough inspection, explain what we find, and help you understand your options.
Whether your home has damage or everything looks good, you’ll receive honest answers and the information you need to make a confident decision.

your first steps after a storm
Start with what you can see
After a storm, take a look around your property from the ground. Check for missing shingles, damaged siding, dented gutters, fallen debris, or anything else that looks different.
Take photos of anything unusual, but avoid climbing onto your roof. Some storm damage is difficult to see without getting a closer look, and a roof can be especially dangerous after severe weather.
Schedule a professional inspection
If you suspect damage, the next step is having your home professionally inspected. We’ll take a closer look at your roof and exterior, document what we find, and explain the condition of your home. From there, you’ll have the information you need to decide what, if anything, should happen next.
Not every storm causes damage, and finding damage doesn’t automatically mean you need to file an insurance claim.
know what the storm left behind
We inspect roofing, siding, gutters, windows, flashing, soft metals, and other visible storm related damage. We’ll document everything with photos and review our findings with you.
What Does Hail Damage Actually Look Like?
Hail damage isn’t always obvious from the ground. During an inspection, we’re looking for bruised shingles, missing granules, cracked shingles, exposed fiberglass mat, dents in gutters, downspouts, roof vents, and other soft metals. We also inspect siding, window wraps, and other exterior components for signs of impact.
We’ll show you exactly what we find so you understand the condition of your home rather than simply taking our word for it.

Should You File an Insurance Claim?
If we find storm damage that may qualify for an insurance claim, we’ll explain what we found, provide photos, and help you understand the claims process. If your home doesn’t have enough damage to justify filing a claim, we’ll tell you that too. Our goal is to help you make an informed decision, not encourage unnecessary claims.
